How hot is it today! (in Sydney)

Nice 24C here in Brissie today, with a gentle breeze too :)

BTW, relented and bought an ND400 today, glad I did as it made today's shoot so much easier.

The 16GB Sandisk is out of stock according to Adorama - does anyone know if the rebate will still hold true if it's backordered?

Would love to get 3x CF cards. Two for myself and one for a friend of mine.

how much does it end up after rebate?

Im allowed to look, its hardly a lust i just like to browse, can't quit cold turkey and doubti could stop the occasional browse of a buy and sell board.

That is hardly a lust.

Fair enough.

But I wanna see you critique some photos! If you have time for gear-hunting, you have time for that!!

What's the point of looking at anything without impure thoughts? Would make for a sad life.

Never judge a person till you walk a mile in their shoes - by then it won't matter. You are a mile away and they have no shoes.

Well this is by no means high art, or for that matter finished (got some pp to do to it yet), but it's a 30 sec exposure with an ND400 and a Polariser.

Basically, the client would prefer not having people in the shot, but they also want to minimise shadows across the pool (thus midday-ish is a good time to shoot). Alas, the pool was opened before I could get in and shoot it, so long exposures were the go.

Looks good. I can only see 2 people and they look like they'd be fairly easy to clone out.

Neat way of putting the ND400 to good use!

Dave,

did get weird looks taking you camera into the pool area? Or did, the "RELAX I am a professional photographer" T shirt do the trick to appease the guy+camera=pedo mindset!
