Introducing ...

My Dad!

And large images!

And my first public posting with a new watermarking action!

Feedback welcome. (On the watermark :p)

Morning All!

Hello to Mr Vader, I always wondered what he looked like underneath that helmut.

Puts on James Earl Jones Voice "Luke.....I am your Father" :)

Nice looking Dad! :)

I really like your watermark, it is tasteful without being too distracting from the image. You could almost put your logo in an upper corner as a subtle way of extra protection.

Luke, I dig the watermark. Maybe a bit more transparency for the band?

Speaking of which, i need to transparent-ize my watermark at some point in time too.

So, my 135/2L arrived. I've snapped a few quick shots with it on the 5D.

Wow.

The bokeh is unbelievable.

Here's a funny shot of my dog resting her head in our verandah railings :D

Very nice! My cat used to do that alot, doesnt much anymore...

It's alright I downloaded one and I've been going through it. Once you get your head around the whole "push and hold while rotating" thing it's pretty straight forward. I do wonder how that kind of setup is supposed to be efficient though. Lots of settings changes require 2 hands and need your face away from the camera too ???

Yeh that pushing 2 buttons thing is a tad annoying but oh well, you soon get used to it.

Yeah, one would be damn good fun to play with... I'm not dropping a grand-odd on one at this stage, though!

I don't use mine enough to justify having spent a grand on it. Luckily I picked it up for only $150 :D

Well I probably got mine well below the going rate as it was. Gotta love "Buy it now" when things are listed by people without a clue.
