ooh love that corolla paint job!
the liberty is hot too ;)

nice lighting on the shots :]

i sold my motorbike for a bunch of my stuff lol..
my grandpa died in December and left me some money and my mate had gotten an 400D so i jumped on the bandwagon and got one too :)

never looked back lol..

just on a random note,
on dave hills blog (external link) he said "Oh, and I dropped my Canon 28mm 2.8 lens, so I replaced it with the Canon 28mm 1.8. Pretty solid lens" which is amazing.. as this guy shoots AWESOME composite portrait images of some really famous people (chris brown, G-unit, soulja boy) <american recording artists

and he uses a 5D and a 28 2.8?.. and about $15K in lighing gear :)
which made me think a whole heap about lighting and how you can have beautiful glass and get amazingly sharp photos straight out of camera.. but how amazing is it when you get reallyy good light in comparison..
sure it doesnt cost you $15K for a fairly decent setup.. i think you get the idea though..

Most lenses look good between f/8 and f/16 ...

And don't forget the huge amount of PP Dave Hill does.

Available light shooters need the better glass ;)

Too right,, the right light can create a great image with a kit lens,,,just look at what nifty does.

On a different note, just a reminder holes 4 and 5 of the Photo Golf challenge finish this Monday so get your entries in. And don't forget to vote for holes 2 and 3. in the "My Transport" hole(3) its a ding dong battle between Sinkrate and Tangcla, or as some see it as the love tift between Michael and Clarence!

For references to the submission or voting threads see my sig, and all welcome to do both..

thanks for the comment Davo (presume that's your name? :D ).

I tweaked up my local copy here. Also made the colour temperature a tinge cooler as she's not really that tanned :) heh
