if you don't NEED the 200 or 300, save your money. take a vacation or something. no sense spending money on a lens because it's cool


I don't hate macs or OSX, I hate people and statements that portray them as better than anything else. Macs are A solution, not THE solution. Get a good desktop i7 with Windows 7 and come tell me that sucks for photo or video editing.

I say get the 300. I also want the 200 but the price will have to come down another 20% before I will even consider it. The two lenses should end up being very close in price.

300 2.8 has an old IS (3stops)
200 2 has 5 stops of IS (according to Canon Europe, Canon Hong Kong and 200 2 booklet)
For Machu Picchu Nikon D300 + 200 2 VR would be excellent ;)
I never bring white lenses to South America, they scream: ''steal me''

Theft :confused:. then DC is good enough. I don't want to get kill because white lens.:(
