Jul 02, 2008 13:24 | #1 Alright, I need a new memory card, I still only have the 2gb sandisk CF card that came with my XTi, and that is far too small. I've been shopping around, and there are many different bards and kinds of memory cards. CF card, HD card, HDC card, FS, FD, versions I, II, III, etc. Which types are compatable witht he XTi? I got a 1gb sandisk CF card from a friend, but it did not fit in my XTi, I just figured that all CF cards would work, but I guess this is not the case. Can someone enlighten me? 5D3, lenses, tripod, and a flash.

You might want to use the 30D as it's going to be very close. Both are DigicII and similar in technology. Not sure why, but call me JJ.

If the card your friend gave you didn't fit, when correctly oriented, it may have been damaged or counterfeit. Jon
