I was considering driving somewhere for July 4th, but the news says most people are having STAYCATIONS this year, staying around the home town and doing something locally.

If you are doing a STAYCATION, what are you planning to do? Especially shooting-wise.

I am staying around, shooting an engagement session on Sat., and we are going to the pool, having a barbecue and admiring our new patio, which is 3/4 done. :) I may decide to take a drive to Skyline Drive and hike if the weather is good. And fireworks at the local stadium on Friday.

Natalie's folks are coming down tomorrow afternoon and we are going to enjoy the afternoon and evening with them. We'll be having hamburgers and stuff for dinner here. Coors Field puts on a nice show and there is a nice field near it where we go to view the fireworks.

It's kind of a staycation.... WE ARE MOVING BACK TO CHEYENNE ON SATURDAY!!!!! We're both really excited. Now that I have graduated, it is time to move home and start the business up!

I like that though, staycation, hahaha.

It's more like stayhomebecausegaspricesaresoridiculouscation.

Maybe.

I thought all vacations included picture taking. :)

yeah this is the first year I have hear the term "staycation" I thought it was pretty funny. I will be going to local BBQ's, a 21st B-day party, and installing a motor in a friends car.

BBQ with the kids and grandkids on the 4th. It is always best with family, whereever you are.

I was invited to several barbecues, totally unexpected. But my husband loves to barbecue, just don't have the patio done yet. I may have to reschedule the engagement shoot, it's going to rain terrible. What do you guys think about the Mall in a jewelry store for the alternative plan?

This is true, although when you cross that imaginary line (you all know what I'm talking about) it does become PHOTOCATION.

You mean that point when the wife starts asking how much longer I am going to be? lol

Are you taking MORE photos!?!? We've been out here for 3 hours! Do you really need more photos? (She doesn't appreciate the fact that the lighting has changed)...

Is that the line?

I thought that was the whole point to vacations..If you're not there to take the photos than why are you there?... Pretty damn boring to tour a city full of all kinds of cool things and not have the camera with you. dang aggravating to.
