I am looking at getting another flash unit for my setup and someone mentioned this model in a post.

Can you tell me anything about it, How long have you used it? What you like or dislike about it.

I will be shooting mostly family events indoors, maybe some fill flash in daylight, and maybe as the boys get older some night time sporting events.

It seems everyone states the flash is great for manual mode (i will obviously be learning this part of the flash).

It is very cheap and the newer model is supposedly setup to not fry your camera with the lower voltage.

Any feedback on this flash is greatly appreciated. It looks like it might be a real good item that is very cost effective.

Here is a link from Adorama: http://www.adorama.com/VV285HV.html (external link)

Thanks in advance for any replies.
