1dMKII (another question)

Can buy one for a nice price, but it has already 60.000 clicks, is it good or too much? Body is in very good condition...

That's not too bad depending on price and age. The camera is about a year old and some people REALLY use them. What price are you getting it for?

OOPS... Misread that. If it's around or below 1600 USD I'd say you got a great deal. If it's above that slightly, it's "ok". If it's in the neighborhood of 2000 USD I'd say it's too much.

IIRC the 1dMKII's shutter was tested to 200,000 cycles. So you should be fine, they are very durable.

Buy it. Shutter life on the MKII's is nothing to worry about. Some batches of MKII's were dying before 30K actuations. Since this one is at 60K, I would say you have nothing to worry about. The body will last you several years. The original 1D, has been around since 2001, and people still buy it/ use it 7 years later. The 1 series is built to last

I'd buy it. That shutter count isn't too high at all for a camera that old. If it's clean and comes with everything you're getting a great deal!

Another question, it seems that such a cam as the MKII has very soft files out of the camera due to a very strong AA filter.

I mostly pp my photos in photoshop, but if i want to have good pics straight out the cam, what settings are you using?

I just bought one myself for the same price (about 1600 USD). Only has 25K clicks on it.

Doesn't look like a camera with 60.000 clicks on it, so I guess you should just go for it.

body looks good. I would try and haggle for less though. it already has 60k of clicks, and thats quite a bit.

i just bought a 1dmk2n for $2k and it had 8k of clicks on it.
