Hawaii Lens question

I will be on a cruise in Hawaii and I would like some help in choosing which lenses to take 40 D and 10 D as backup.
17-40 F4 L
24-105 f4 L
70-200 F4 L
100-400 f4.5-5.6 L
50 f 1.8

IF your cruise ship is going past active lava at night; the 100-400 might be useful. If not; I'd say bring nifty, 17-40 and 70-200 <- for birds and other wildlife

Don't forget the 1.4 extender. If you have the room. ;-)a

Hawaii is very nice for picture taking. Most of which are landscapes of the beautiful scenery. The 17-40mm is a must.

which island? I think that makes a big difference.

Next month I'm spending two weeks in Hawaii, one on Kauai, one on the Big Island. I KNOW I will be using my 10-20 heaps, and I will be bringing the 24-70 for portraits etc., but I figure it's worth the extra weight to bring my 70-200 for the occasional flora/fauna shot.

So...based on your setup: 17-40, 50, 70-200, 1.4 ex.
