Tamron 19-35mm EF lens

Anyone currently have one of these?

Yep I do - it's served me well through a 1n, 33, D60, 40D and 1DmIIn. Flimsy build but it has taken a few good knocks and keeps on ticking. I now use it as a at hand set in my car with my old D60.

It is soft wide open but comes together nicely a few stops down, not too useful for available light shooting. I avoid it for night shots as I get nasty flare issues where bright objects are in the frame. Otherwise light and small and does the job.

It's old now and I would think that an 18-55 or another of those digital only lenses would better it these days and would be a better buy.
