Shutter speed is probably a bit fast, but i had so many soft/blured image i bumped it up a fraction. Canon 5D Mark II + BG-E6

It was hard work holding the 100-400 and trying to pan for 3 days. I guess it's just gonna be lots of practice... Canon 5D Mark II + BG-E6

As the cars were visible to me for such a short time that the focusing motor (USM) was unable to focus in time. I had to go manual and prefocus on a spot on the track. Av mode set at F11 to get some depth of field. ASA set at 400 (generally poor lighting on the day) resulting in a shutter speed of 1/400sec. I know this will be frowned upon by some but this is the first time that I have panned F1. I wanted to get some acceptable shots this time and maybe experiment at slower shutter speeds another time,
