Hmm, thats strange. They work fine for me even on different PC's (so I know they weren't cached on this one). It's pbase so I know its a reputable host, maybe I am linking to them wrong...

I personally think smokey is a little soft and would use an unsharp mask in PS, I would crank it up around 120 with the radius set at 1.2 and threshold at 1 and play around you will find it could pop out a little more with some tinkering, however I kinda like tiggers pic the way you have it maybe try the auto levels function in PS and get the yellowish hue fixed. All my opinions of course

Thanks you for the input and I do appreciate the edit! I'll have to try what you said with smokey as well. Its tough to get a good sharp picture of a cat because they don't really stand still too long (mine anyway).

Thanks again,
Nick

no problems, the trick with cats or any animal for that reason is good lighting, a cat in a living room is not ideal without a good flash unit, good lighting means you can use a quicker shutter speed thus enhancing the sharpness... hope that makes sense to you?
Try get them in the garden when the suns out and use a shutter speed in the region of 1/200 and use the natural light to your advantage you will see remarkale differences.
