Hi Marie,

I didn't realize there was a problem with my image size. I have images, avatars and signatures turned off in my control panel to speed up my browsing. When I click on an image link the photo loads quickly and automatically resizes to fit the screen. When I saw your message I changed the settings to turn everything on and reloaded the thread. WOW! What a difference! The thread loaded much more slowly and I had to scroll to see the images in their entirety. What a pain! And that's with DSL. I did the same thing last night on my home computer, which is on;y 56K dial-up, and I could have gone out shopping while the thread loaded. To top it off, the images were already resized way down from their original size. I quess I'll have to squeeze a little harder. :)

Thanks for clueing me in and going through the trouble of irfanviewing them.

:o

thanks a lot Jim

I always worry when I say something to anyone like that ^ (above)
as who am I to say anything

if I don't say anything I worry that maybe I should have:confused:

either way I can't get away from it until I hear that the person understood or didn't mind
or something

I did love the large pictures showing so much detail and so clear
but scrolling them across and back on my computer took ages
as I wanted to see everything

the smaller pictures really don't do justice to the whole manoeuvre
so am glad I saw them big too.
the impact is much better in the large shots

thanks

Really nice documentary. What is the building to be used for now?

Thanks for looking. It will soon be someone's home, just as it originally was. :)
