I usually don't post much in the sharing sections (mostly shoot commercial images), but decided to post a couple from my last shoot. These were all shot on location with studio strobes, or off camera flashes.

Here are the complete details of how the images were created. I wrote this for another post, but it seemed fitting here too.

There is a series of images that show the effect being built up, as well as a number of example images with details on the lighting at the end.

Here is another one I wrote quite a while ago.

I saturated the blue in the first one, nothing in the second two.

Great images as usual Steve! Just goes to show you how understanding the relationship between the different settings and the light sources is what separates the "men from the boys" (sorry ladies).

While I'm at it I should mention - for those of you interested in learning that relationship- Steve has a great class that he does on lighting. I attended one and learned a lot. He's a great guy too!

Think about NOT using the word "retarded" in a derogatory manner - it insults those who cannot defend themselves - and hurts the ones who love them. Please see: http://www.r-word.org/ (external link)

Thanks for the plug Apshiso. I can't connect your name here with your real name in the workshop, but I'm glad to hear you got a lot out of it. That was the goal afterall ;)
