I thought I would try something different this year and try to zoom in on some of the explosions. Mostly luck of the draw, and I think I got a few good ones. Let me know what you think! Thanks for looking! :D

First one looks amazingly like a palm tree.

Exactly what I thought.

Is this one or two different bursts captured on the image?

Wow, we didn't have palm tree shaped fireworks when I was a kid. Technology has come a long way. Awesome shot.

I think #1 is honestly good enough to be sold.

My first expression: "Wow! Awesome shots!"
How did you acheive these? what camera settings?

My wife said the same thing... I guess I should listen to her a little more! ;)

ISO 400
F8
2 second shutter

I seriously got lucky because most of the time I was just holding my remote shutter and just pressed the button about every 2 seconds. (Of course, have to have a steady tripod!)

#1 is very cool, I've never seen fireworks like that before. I like the composition of #2 better. Both exposures are excellent - it's apparent this isn't your first time shooting fireworks.

Like everyone else, I love #1. The second is nice as well, but the squigglyness (is this even a word?) of it bothers me.
