My brother in Law and I went down to Seattle yesterday with my niece to hang out for the fireworks. Here are some shots from the day. This was my first time ever doing fireworks so I still have a lot to learn.

Here is a link to the Panoramic I created since its pretty long. i need to adjust the exposure on some still.

I am not sure that I can speak for the rest, but at least I could use some more photos.

:p

Very well done. I like the panoramic view of the city, space needle (easy identifier), and the works on top.

I also appreciate the day time photos. I was actually dreading to open the thread and find nothing more than firework shots for the next week or so. ;)

Anyhow, I have been thinking since last night, that the best firework photos would be with the landscape added to it (I saw some DC photos of the Capitol & Nearby landmarks with the fireworks above, also great).

Thanks for sharing :)

PS: Seattle_14.jpg a favorite.

I removed some images and changed them to links to cut down on the post size haha :)

When I get some more time this week I will be doing a lot of photoshopping with a few of these. I took about 400 pictures throughout the day in RAW. Trying to process all of them is a pain! I wish I shot jpeg now lol.

My problem with RAW, is I use it for some key photos (usually a few) and then it stays that way for something where I leasurely take 400-500 frames. Then the pains start. I have not shot RAW for months now (shame!).

Cheers,

Nice shots. I have seen the Seattle fireworks twice and it is one of the best shows I have ever seen.
