I am just working on creating something I like, and I finally came up with this.
Like it? Don't like it? Thanks!

with the actual size of the card being what it is I think you might have too many images on this. can you narrow it to 2 or 3, you could continue the theme on the back to get all of them in.

I could cut it down to 3 or 4 and then make them bigger on the back, but I have never liked double-sided business cards. Plus, they are more expensive :-)

i agree about the amount of images/ size of card. the one of the girls is going to look unrecognizable when actually printed. The faces are going to have no detail, maybe larger more simple images. just my .02

It's busy, and it looks like a cliché with that film strip thing. The fonts are boring. It needs a phone number more than it needs 5 tiny prints that will be too small to see on a printed card.

Hire a designer, or do something like this.

I do agree that the one you linked to is VERY good. Very elegant and simple.

Yours is neither simple nor elegant.

Do you specialize in wedding photgraphy only? If you have a more wide spread base, then you may not want to limit yourself to only wedding pics on your card. It is a nice touch to have pics from the Museum of Glass on your card, showing that you are from the area and it gives a more local touch to your card. I was thinking about using a similar theme with the film strip on my card, but decided against it, since I only shoot digitally. I don't think that the ordinary person would care about the difference or would really notice it, but I decided against it. The film strip does however give you a sense that the card is geared toward photograpy. Nice job.

In all honesty, I think you don't even need images on your card. It says "photography" on it already so they know what you do. Save the images for your website.

I like the 2nd one better.

Is it a normal size for a business card? It looks a little long. If it is, its got a good point, you stand out in the deck of cards, but it also annoys people when it doesn't fit into a wallet or business card holder.

Is this a critique of the second card? I have abandoned the first one now. I do pretty much just do weddings, so that's why I chose the wedding picture for the card. Thanks for the input.

It is 2x3.5, which seems to be the standard anywhere I look.

I agree. :D

Don't really care for either design, but the last one is a big improvement.
