How essential you think a wireless transmitter is?

I was wondering if a wireless transmitter would be a great investment for weddings... Because of the diagonal light, more natural, etc...

What do you think? Would it be a good investment?

Personally, i would not be able to shoot a wedding with out them. It is my studio's style to use the "light-on-a-stick" method for the dances and other important events throughout the day (cake cutting, toasts, etc..)

I don't know about setting up lights at weddings myself but in the studio: It is like a cell phone. YOu will wonder how you ever managed without one.

I use them for 2-3 lights at receptions, i'm about to upgrade from cheapies to Skyports. I don't use them in other parts of the day as ETTL works fine and is quicker than manual flash.
