You will read that thing from cover to cover and still can't get enough. There is a huge section in there for Canon gear with reviews that are quite helpful. IF you want to buy a lens, someone has written about it here in the forum. Do a search or ask someone and you'll be glad you didn't buy a book. People actually use those lenses here. Also, when you see members' gear lists, you will know who has what and you can get a feel for how they shoot. advice: that catalog can cost you a bunch of money if you are not careful!! Bill
