Hello POTN,

I took a trip to Jack London Square in Oakland today and I am looking for some critique on some photos I took. Any comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks :D

I think #2 is gorgeous. Well composed shot, and the vignetting works too.

The scene in #5 had potential, but you really needed to get a different angle of those kayaks.

#3 needs a tighter crop to play on the girl/door theme.

#4 needs to be straightened.

#1 is just not that interesting to me. Maybe it'd be better in color.

Thanks for sharing

just goes to show you.
I like no1 the most, i like the conversion and the way it leads away, has real depth.
I don't like the vignette in no2 and the subject is only OK.
No3 is my least favorite no area of interest.
No 4 i like, the lighting on the seats is good and the details holds interest, i does need straightening up.
I think no5 would work better if the colours really popped.

I really like #1 also. I also find the crookedness of #4 to be offensive to the eye. The rest I like pretty well. Kind of neutral on them.
