The files for my old ZB were stored under the "Program Files" then Canon then Zoombrowser etc. The 6.1.1 will not allow me to open the program files folder. How do I get to my pictures from the old software? Moving them is not an option at this point.

Do you get an error message? If so: what?
Don't use ZB, but a bit of additional info might help.

1. What OS?
2. Assuming Windows, do you mean that when trying to open Program files with Windows Explorer you get a notice that it is a hidden folder? That is the Windows default but there should be a button on the notice that will allow you to see the folder.
3. If you stored your images in the ZB folder (a very bad idea, IMHO) and overwrote it when installing a newer version of ZB, you may have lost your images. However, if this is the case a jpg recovery program may still retreive them.
