I read some good reviews about this item and several posts. Saw some photos and would like to find out where I could purchase this item? B&H doesnt have it, Amazon doesn't ahve it i can't seem to find it anywhere? Was it discontinued for some reason? Anyone know where to purchase?
In case you haven't heard of it here is the review off of dpreview.com

For some bizarre reason, Canon never released these for sale in the US.

I bought one used, and I didn't get an English User's Manual. I'm not sure, but its possible that none of them come with the English version. One eBay seller in Australia or New Zealand makes a special note that they provide a PDF of the English version.

The moral of the story is check that point out before you assume that you are getting a manual you can read. The operation is basic enough to make it without one, but I think there are details that are much easier to grasp with the manual.

My 2 cents. . .

Have Fun,

Rick

They're a bit overpriced for what they offer, IMO. They're also supposedly rather slow. If Canon would release a better, cheaper version in the U.S. I'd be interested - but as they are now? I think I'll pass.

Agreed. For now I think the Epson P-3000 with a hard drive upgrade is by far the best buy.
