Smugmug works for a lot of people, along with zenfolio and several others. Do a search for picture host here or on google and see what pops up.

Can you count the negatives for picasa from Google?

smugmug is a bit costly for me, as i am not a pro. What are the other good options?

I find Deviantart.com works quite well for me. Their free features are basically all I and many other non-pro's would need.

Well, one thing that I would ask myself is what do you want to do w/ those photos. Do you want to upload them to share w/ friends and family or do you want to post them online to viewed by online community and/or critiqued?

The reason I asked is because I am starting to see a trend w/ my photos and maybe its just me. But I am using Smugmug for posting images for my clients and havin them proof, buy and select. But if I want images to be critique I either post them in flickr and currently looking for other places for images to get more exposure. So I am also open to any ideas :)

So don't know if the top helped you but I think it helps when you think about your goals for posting your images online.
