I asked this as a follow up question in another post but it either got lost in the shuffle or I'm extremely hated. :) I hope it was the former.

I have sunpak 383 flashes with light stands and I'm looking to be able to attach various lighting modifiers like snoots, softboxes etc.

Someone provided me with a link to:

http://alzodigital.com …_porta_flash_soft_box.htm (external link)

Which is a softbox that comes with a bracket to attach a standard flash and sit on a light stand but they don't seem to sell that bracket separately. I'd be fine buying that setup for the softbox and bracket if I knew that it was a 'standard size' speedring I could shop for other modifiers for.

Anyone know a place to get a bracket like that separately that ends in a size that I could shop for several different modifiers for?

I don't know much about studio lighting so I'm not sure if all the rings are the same size with the same hole layout or not.

Thanks,
Kurt

For speedlight like the 383, I would attach the snoot directly onto the flash head.

For mounting it to a softbox, there are many speedring + bracket combos out there..
