I am looking for a good quality bag BUT I don't want a black, boring bag. So, I found this woman who makes them. You can see in my signature what all I have. Currently, I have hugely outgrown my tiny camera bag and NEED a new one.

I like a good boring bag. :) I just add a nice big tag with mine.

I just ordered this bag for myself:

Not your ordinary, but I like it. All other bags are navy or red.

Link doesn't work for me.

However, a camera bag should first and foremost be functional IMO: Form follows function.

For that reason, I use Billingham (external link). Great bags.
Domkes work good as well.

If I look at these (external link) bags for instance, it looks like function is sacrificed for form IMO.

Here is another thread on "cute" bags: Click

I prefer KATA Bags, they suit my needs very well. And the TSA loves seeing how well organized my bag is!

I have had no trouble going through security with my Airport International completely full with a carry on that has almost as much. IF you make it all neat, they just recognize it an move on.

trying to post a link again for others to see......this is just an example of a bag, not necessarily the fabric I'd choose though:

I've actually seen that bag before here, but I cannot believe it won't clash with something you are wearing. :)

If you love it, go for it! I have red bags and love them. My laptop bag is red and black, very sharp. But patterns don't suit me. It looks sturdy enough, if that's what you are asking.

That's something that would never have occurred to me :)

I just bought its big brother (DR-467) a few weeks ago. It's a great bag, and I'm sure you'll be happy with it, though mine is just black, black, with some more black :( .

That's why I decided to get the white/tan one and I'm climbing and hiking, so black would be "HOT" and not very fun to carry. Also, it's got an interesting material that actually is up against the back I want to try. I get so sweaty.
