Strobes in the Rain - Any Tips?

Well, in a few days I'm going to wrapp the flash + pw unit inside a bag and submerse it behind a water fall. Lets hope it doesn't become an epic fail!

Wait, are we talking about submersion? I've seen a lot of people using submerged speedlights and pocket wizards with pelican cases with transparent covers, or dedicated waterproofing bags. Just make sure not to try and go the cheap route here ;)

Another Idea is to put the flash with the pocket wizard on a caddy from flashzebra and mount it on the flash head inside a plastic bag, then have my assistant hold it like the human flash stand! haha

I used this technique with a vegabond II unit and a large strobe with a 3' octodome yesterday and it worked great. Human light stands rock!
