My 8GB thumb drive was found hot & clean in my drier a few weeks ago and it still works fine. But my Motorola blue tooth headset is another story, which is know one of my 6 year olds new toys.

My Extreme 3 fell in a puddle and was run over by a full size fire engine, came through no sweat.

is it ruined?. i put it in some rice.. and i'm letting it dry out before i plug it into my cp.. but will it make a difference?. or is it just ruined. this sucks.. two days before i go to florida too.

Put it back in the pocket it was washed in and then run it through the dryer. I've found several of my Sandisk cards in the dryer and they've all been fine.

I had a 4GB Extreme III go through a complete wash cycle, an hour inthe dryer on high and it still works fine. Let it dry out fora few days, pop it in your camera and see what it does. Since its solid state memory, as long as none of the connectors are tweaked, it should be fine.

I lost a CF card in a blender of Margaritas. It did not survive mostly due to the fact that the blender was on at the time.

How did it effect the flavour?

It was very colorful and electrifying. :)
