I was digging up some old images and came across this one I took a few years ago. This Rover was once a very nice example of a NADA spec, elephant hide interior Series vehicle, rusting away in a field of daisies and home to several hundred yellow jackets. Too bad.

I'll post some other shots when I get home from work. The vehicle was beyond repair, and would have been a marginal parts vehicle. It had deteriorated significantly, not only in all of the typical Series vehicle places, but the lack of roof accelerated the deterioration of the interior and normally sheltered components.

Thanks for the interest. I am currently restoring a 1974 Series III lightweight - it's in pieces now, but here it is when I got it:

Hey Kirk, Nice series. FWIW, I've seen cars in far worse shape than that get restored.
It only takes lots of time and money. :confused:
