You should not crop out the water - you need to show it for the height of the jump, just as you say. Otherwise you just have a guy-in-the-air shot. If you want to crop this a bit, maybe lose some of the right side, but leave the boarder 'somewhere to go'. It may lose some of your boat wake too, but it will leave the water for perspective.

You have to straighten the horizon though.

I'd crop it a tiny bit, but not so much it doesn't show the height. Also, as Darsk mentioned, fix the horizon.

Your rope really manages to nearly disappear. I'm jealous; our white rope is way too much of an eyesore, even at 2.8.
