So one of my AB800s hit the floor over the weekend. Modeling light popped immediately, but a replacement bulb works fine. All else seemed OK, thought I'd skirted disaster. However, when I have my Skyport Receiver hooked to the strobe's sync port, I can fire one shot (via transceiver or the strobe's test button). After that, the Skyport turns off. I suppose it's caused by a short in the AB800?
The Skyport works fine on my other units. Shouldn't be a big deal to fix, but I think I've had the unit for longer then 2 years now (not sure). Then again, it was my fault so they probably wouldn't honor the warranty in that case anyway (though I've heard of them doing so).
