Inside the Engine Works at the National Railway Museum in York, UK.

Very interesting to walk around and watch the engineers at work repairing and restoring old locomotives, the tools they used looked as if they were as old as the locomotives themselves. You could just coak up the detail on their workbenches for hours. :)

Cool....would love to be able to follow that ground up restoration on a regular basis...great shots...nice details!

Quite ironic that shot of "Union Of South Africa" (60009) in the workshop, because she failed on Saturday's "Coronation".

I guess they must have missed something. :rolleyes:

That's "Flying Scotsman" in Nos.3 and 4, can't wait for that in steam again.

I like the contrast in the shots, the yellow framework of the building really sets off the dark colors of the locomotives and parts.
