After about a month of lurking I’m finally making my first post. I took these pictures with my new Digital Rebel I got for Christmas. The store is GMD Futbol Soccer owned by my brother in law and his wife (my sister). My brother in law played professionally in Mexico, where it’s called futbol, for a 2nd division team. Unfortunately, he suffered a career ending injury to his knee and was forced to hang ‘em up.

All pictures taken with the kit lense. I did a little tweaking in PS. All comments and suggestions welcome. Thanks for looking.

The store is located in Ontario, CA. The yellow sign in the window is from the video store next door adverstising "Adult DVD VHS rent & sale". My sister asked me to remove it.

This was taken with a cheap screw on wide angle lense adapter I bought to hold me over until I am in a position to know what my first lense purchase should be.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Dimitry, I've been looking into getting some filters. I've taken a few sky shots and am anxious to see how much of an improvement a polarizer would make. Thanks for the suggestion.
