DOF Works.

It is lens...what you see is pretty much straight out of the camera... It was shot at f/1.8, and the DOF was extremely shallow. I tried it at f/1.4, and it was just too soft, IMHO...

Very nice, does it look better if you flip it horizontally? I think a left to right path thru the picture might be more pleasant for the eyes.

I agree. I believe the eye wants to enter the frame from the left and move to the right. I just flipped it real quick and it feels more natural.

Makes sense and probably related to the way we are taught to read, i wonder if the image works better right to left for Arabic viewers:rolleyes:
