Amazing!!

What was your workflow to transition them to B&W? Good choice BTW, they look awesome, and I agree about the high ISO looking like old B&W film grain in some of the shots...

Workflow was pretty straight forward, I shot on jpeg (although it would have been the same workflow had I shot RAW), imported the photos into Lightroom (which I'm having some troubles with now, but that's another story) when I downloaded them to the computer, applied some actions on Lighroom, tinkered with the levels a bit (not too much though) and exported the edited images for upload to the internet. All up it took about 3 hours to go from 1100 unedited photos to a selection of the best 100 with all PP work done.

Fantastic images. What actions do you use in lightroom? I've only just started trying to play with it.

I downloaded a bunch of free ones off www.lightroomkillertips.com (external link) which are really good, there's a couple called nostalgic1 and nostalgic2 which are excellent, also Earth and Bronze are really good. I'd highly recommend checking it out, it's a very handy site.

#5 shows great expression! The shot of the feet upside down and the shadow of Rafael is unique.

I watched that whole match. Aren't you a lucky one to have been in the second row. I love your series. Thanks for sharing. The shadow shot gave me a chuckle. :)

Yup, #6 is the winner. I'd love to see it in color.

I'm not really liking that colour cast you have gave the pics on the ones you have posted .

But the colour ones in your album are awesome .

A cracking set of images you have there, well done :D
