my first attempt at shooting manual / fireworks

I've been here for a while and never could grasp the concept of shooting in full manual. Well, I forced myself to do it while shooting fireworks... let me know what ya think...

came out nice! i wish u moved a bit to the right so those trees could be the right side framing. and id clone out all those telephone poles. there sure are a lot of them!

I think a lot of them have the highlights blown out. If you shot raw maybe you can recover some detail. They seem a littel drab. Not a lot of color.. Maybe try to boost the saturation.

Practice makes perfect though and we all start out somewhere! I'd agree with scorpio_e though, RAW would enable you to hopefully recover some detail and colour. Nice shots though mate. Your long exposure car shot reminded me of one of mine, so I obviously like it!

I actually did shoot all these in raw, they were converted to jpg. I guess I need to tune my eye to get to where you guys are... Thanks for the feedback
