Paying while being less than 18 years old

Hi. I couldn't see the subject fitting in any other section, so I decided to post it here.

A lot of sellers and online shops accept only Paypal and credit cards as methods of payment. But you must be 18 to use Paypal, and credit card companies don't really want to have minor people for clients. The thing is: If you wanna buy something online, how do you do? Do you start a Paypal account or what?

I just have my Paypal linked to my mom's account. I just make sure she knows what coming in, and what going out of it.

I would get one of those pre-paid visa gift cards. You don't have to be 18 to get one of those.

Thanks, but they aren't available where I live (PQ, Canada).

Most debit cards that are credit/debit (the ones with a visa/mastercard symbol) can be used online. I got one at 16.

Debit cards work with paypal.
