Looking for ideas/places around the house/easy places where to take pics of small childern. Lighting seems to be a big problem for me. Saving the pennies for a flash.

I need all the advice I can get. Still trying to learn photoshop. Its really hard for me to make adjustments without it looking fake or really "digitalized". If thats a word. Think about NOT using the word "retarded" in a derogatory manner - it insults those who cannot defend themselves - and hurts the ones who love them. Please see: http://www.r-word.org/

Thanks for the comment. Went to the Library last week with my daughter but forgot the card. So ended up just looking at Ansel Adams 100. I'm not educated; I'd be a damn fool if I was (educated)!

I think its great without flash. tub shots do require adjusting white balance and usually up'ing the exposure also (with white tubs/walls), both of which I applied to edit below. if your camera supports it you can make these adjustments in the camera, but both these are fairly easy to do in PP, especially if you shoot in raw format. this image can also use a little lightening of the eyes (teeth are great, but eyes are not as bright). thats a bit outside my skill set unfortunately... maybe a little more exposure compensation would do it?? cheers -- alex. Thanks for the insight. I always shoot in Raw. I know how to adjust the exposure but will have to look at that white Balance. Is the done with curves.
