Here's sharing a male Lanius cristatus, a common migrant to our islands that usually leaves to breed up north by May and returns at around August.

40D + Sigmonster + Sigma 1.4x TC, 1120 mm, ISO 1250, 1/60 sec, f/13, MF via Live View, manual exposure in available light, 475B tripod/3421 gimbal head:

This is astonishing. I find it unbelievable that one could attach a 1.4 TC onto a zoom lens of such a focal length as that and get these incredibly awesome results. This sure shows me how much I have to learn about using my equipment. Sheesh, thanks for sharing.
