Well, I'm thinking about getting rid of my G5 ... but with the scratched LCD screen I suppose it won't be easy. Is there any way to fix it? What would be the cost?

I would appreciate any advice.

Normally the coating on a TFT screen is a polarizing filter as well and can’t be repaired; if you were to scratch it all off you wouldnt be able to see anything on it at all.
