Ha! - I got you. But you wish there were some basic tutorials in here don't you?

Well, here's hoping that all will contribute to it. I have spent most of my short "career" getting it right in-camera - so I don't know enough about it to answer many questions if I did post something.

Can you PS wizards and/or Gurus contribute some basic techniques?? Or maybe even share your workflow techniques? eg: "first I import into folders with x priority, then I sharpen using USM, then I apply spot correction, then I apply border and watermark etc etc etc... (or yadda yadda - if you prefer)

Or am I missing a smilar thread somewhere else? (I figured it would surely be a sticky here)

You know...I thought the same thing. Searching my "workflow" doesn't yield great results. I then searched "share your workflow" and stumbled onto this post where tim shares some useful links, reposted here:

I too am still looking for good low-light ideas (I shoot mostly concerts).

Thanks Rene' - that is what I had been doing. I just thought they would have made it easier than that. I figured the "UserCP" would have the same links but I couldn't find them there.

Okay, maybe I missed something? My intention was to start a thread ( much like many other threads here) that users could, well, use - to see what methods different folks are using for their day to day workflow. Of course, this is an old thread and I haven't RE-searched the forums to see if someone was able to get their point across more gracefully.

Well, you could have started by sharing a good tip or technique that you've picked up over the last 4 years since starting this thread.

It also might help If you say what version of Photoshop you have as well. I just did a huge (for me anyway) switch from CS3 to CS6, and theres a lot thats changed.
Generally I open in RAW and correct for any lens or colour issues, then bring into Bridge and make level and curve adjustments. Then make noise adjustments using neat image.
Then I switch to LAB mode and do sharpening using lightness channel only, although I am experimenting with doing sharpening at much earlier stages now as well.
If I'm doing HDR images, then there quite a few more steps.
