Yep. Ever since I had a charger die on me on a Greek cruise, I carry 2. Just wish the charger for the 1D3 battery wasn't so big and there were 3rd party options for those.

i would say just buy an extra battery and carry it around. i hate the attention having a bigger camera, but that's just me :)
