Ive been eyeing the 30mm 1.4 tho focus issues scare me... Pretty much anything 2.8 and up is fast enough. Im pretty happy with my 50mm 1.8, tho I wouldnt mind having better AF performance. At the same time I think a wider prime might just be the ticket. But Im seeing all kinds of primes from 20mm to 35mm and not sure which would be the best for me. So $450~ for the 2nd lens? The Sigma is the best buy in that range. The focus issue is over hyped, just like most things on the net.

Are you looking to move to a pure 2 lens setup (get rid of your 18-55, 50 1.8 and 28-105), or are you looking to move add two MORE lenses to you existing setup. David (aka BigBlueDodge)
