ok.. i'm checking out the dynatran tripods on ebay, since many members here highly recommend it.

what's the difference in the legs from L100~L105T? or difference between AT3050 vs. AT3052? whats the difference? also, which head should i get? would the ATH-05H

</IMG> support my 30D + batt grip + 70-200L IS mounted unmanned? like i wouldn't have to worry about the head losing grip and just drop downward or get loose?

thanks!

For your setup, I would use ATH-A03 large ballhead. Believe it or not, ATH-A03 performs better than ATH-A04, in my opinion of course.

As for the legs between L100 ~ L105T, I think it's just the build and max weight they support. L105T uses larger diameter tubes for the thickest section. I have one L105T and two carbon fiber A105T. The specs are very similar except the cf is lighter.

I got my amvona gears when they still had them for auction on eBay. Plenty of good deals then. Now, they are mostly Buy-It-Now which is quite pricey.

I just picked up a 3050 off ebay on Monday for $31 and received it yesterday.
