It's the kind of picture that I like. To some extent, it fits as monochrome.

My problem is that I can't say that it is soft, but I get the perception of soft - so you will have to see if anyone else gets that same feeling.

Soft or not, the framing alone is enough to sieze the attention. There's an intensity to it. The details are filled in by the imagination. Those are the best kind of photographs in my estimation: those with a narrative...if you know what I mean.

Bob,,,this image has been severely cropped to give it some impact..Possibly this gives a perception of softness.. When I first viewed this image in its entirety I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it,,I almost scrapped it.. I liked the image but not as it was.. I cropped and converted into mono,,,bingo a different image..

Thanks Bob and Walkingmanblues for your input..
