I have a plethora of new baby bunnies hopping around my yard, but they're difficult to attact. Does anyone know of a good way to attact a rabbit or 2 for some nice shots?

Have you tried some nice carrots? Or does that only work in cartoons.

But seriously, you could try using green leafy veggies to lure them out of their hiding place (of course, you'll probably need to keep yourself hidden or use a remote so you don't scare them off).

Just lay in the grass and make a sound like a carrot!

Actually, creat a sort of "Blind" and play the waiting game... thats your best shot, throgh some rabbit food pellets around so when they do come out they will stay occupied longer.

Backs them up into what? A corner? If so, that should make them easier to photograph, no? ???

Rabbits like many wild animals are creatures of habit.

What time of evening do they typically come out and where do they come out at?

Now you get situatied in a good place 15-20 minutes before they emerge and wait...

Rabbit's (or any wild animal) over a pile of corn (or other food) don't look pleasing or natural.

This is just my opinion. Don't take it to seriuosly.

I guess it is just ICEBERG lettuce they are not supposed to eat. they have a hard time digesting it... Other lettuces are fine...

I wasn't planning on snapping the food in the pics, lol.. I guess I just need to sit out and wait. Any time I open the screen door they think the dogs are coming so they're gone.

Plant a garden or some expensive tender shrubs and you will have no trouble attracting rabbits. Then you can work on getting rid of them.

Actually the opposite it will give them wet tail (diarrhea) and that kills them. Carrots, strawberry yogurt drops from the pet store or plain pellets will attract them. Make sure you touch it and they will get used to your sent.

Make a comfortable blind and sit out and wait for them. If you have a tripod, put that 300mm zoom on it and get some shots. Watch the light, keep the sun at 90 degrees and keep the wind in your face. Be vewy, vewy quiet.
