I have the AC ones. I have not received my battery powered ones yet. I am a relative n00b at off camera lighting but the cybersyncs so far have been flawless. The transmitter is nice and small and everything has worked as anticipated.

Anybody received the battery powered ones yet? I'm ready to order, but would like to hear a few testimonials first.

Looks like a mixed bag of reviews, so far. I think they're probably built like most AB things; not quite "cheap" but certainly "inexpensive." A valid observation, but one has to keep in check with reality... AB stuff is very affordable, so compromises have to be made somewhere. If you want something bulletproof - get PWs... And pay PW prices. If these work better than the eBay triggers, then I'm already sold.

Nice link BeerCan....Paul Buff actually responds in that thread. Awesome.

Looks like to me the consensus is good. The only negatives I've read are about somewhat cheap feeling build quality. All the reviews I've read claim they fire everytime.

Only sync at 1/250... looks like I'll be passing that up if I get a 1D.
