Today I had my first shoot with a model so needless to say I was nervous that it wouldn't come out great. I think I did okay. Natural light with one reflector and the 580 EXII for fill. Images can be see at the link below.

What do you think???

Thanks,
Brian

Those are great photos! nice job! You should be proud of those especially since this is your first shoot. My first was no where near that good. :(

Either you server is getting slammed with traffic or it is very slow... The ones I did see look very nice. What does it cost to get a model for a photo shoot?

I don't know what the problem is with the server. It came right up for me the first time, but that was before I put this link up...Hopefully you will get the rest of the images. Try refreshing your browser...

It actually didn't cost me anything for the model. I put an ad on craigslist asking for models and I got slammed with women and men who want shots done for their portfolio. I even got a hair and makeup girl who wants in on the action. She wasn't part of this shoot though.

Thanks for looking.
Brian

Yeah, these are really solid. I would be very happy with those as a first shoot. Some of the processing seems a bit overdone, like the vignetting and blur on a few of them. Although, I do really like the black and white shot with the vignetting.

The model is trying to use them for her portfolio. That was the arrangement we made, so I wanted to give her several looks and feelings in the images so she can use them at the appropriate times for her needs.
