Studio Bridal Portrait

So I just finished my first studio bridal portrait. Here is the first image I picked to edit and thought I would share and see what everyone thought about it. Come to think of it, it's my first portrait of an adult in studio. She was so much fun to work with, and so much easier that kids

I like the composition, but it seems a little underexposed.

Yeah, I think it might be a little bit. I'll have to try to brighten it up a bit tomorrow. Too tired now

seems a touch dark on the right side. maybe reflector? and id lose that watch haha

Love the pose! The dress looks really cool and she has a great smile

2 nitpicks for me ...

1. the dress is near perfect but there are still some areas that are folded in and not perfectly flat. The front and the left side look good, its more towards the back and the right that needs to be flattened out.

2. Her face seems out of focus to me, it almost appears that the detail in the front of her dress (by her bossoms ) is more in focus than her face. Maybe I'm seeing things. Either way her face could use some sharpening.

That's as flat as we could get that thing I knew there would be some cloning involved if I wanted to get it to look perfectly flat. If she picks this pose for her canvas, then maybe I'll put the time in for perfection.

I did some softening on her face to smooth and even it out, and some sharpening on the details of her dress, so I guess that's what you're seeing.

Very creative. I love it. Good job. My only nit-pick is that the dress seems too perfect and too round. But that's probably the effect you are going for. Just goes to show you, everyone has their own opinion.

So true. I think it either needs to be perfectly round and flat or not at all.

The bride looks very cute in that pose. Try some effects to make her face glow a little bit and create an aura around her..not a real one..but just the lightening effect to give the picture a slightly bright look on right side as well. Otherwise the photo looks wonderful.

Yeah, I did a version with the LOTR look that was pretty good.

Ok, I got all of her other images edited for her so I had time to go back and make some more edits to this one. Better?
