Part 2 from my other post : https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=531035

This time using a white background & a sheet of white stained glass.

CC plz

My Dirty Carry : Straight from the IWB holster to the softbox.

The markings near the ejection port are scuff marks from the plastic portion of the holster, NOT scratches in the metal, this was literally straight from the holster to the softbox (and back).

My New Hawkeye : still has a roll of film in it

I think the monotone subjects (i.e. the bellow cameras) worked better using the white background and the duo-tone works better with the black.

2nd photo should now be fixed.

Yeah, I had thought about cleaning the handgun, but I like it better as it was (I thought it added character). I did take a few from my clean handguns (the ones that live in the safe), but they were too "clinical" for me.

Thanks for the CC so far, I will prob retry this shot after I clean the plastic scuff marks and as much of the dried gunpowder off as I can.

Yeah, I've been seeing a lot of ads lately for the awesome state of the art bellows cameras, and this one would fit in great. :p (I apologize for my personality disorder my doctor describes as "smart ass with a slight case of douche bagism").

Excellent shots. My only critique would be that I've seen too many soft box shots with the mirrored look lately. I think the gun would look better without the reflection, but that's just personal taste.

I must get one of these light boxes (tent?). Actually, given the state of my finances it's more likely I would make one, but I want one. The uniformity of lighting in these things is remarkable.

Of the two I like the 2nd one the best. Both are good, but the second works better for me. Maybe its just that, however obliquely, I'm uncomfortable looking down the muzzle of that pistol:-) This may simply be an indicator of how good the picture is though!

More good stuff from the lightbox. I really liked your earlier postings of the cameras with the black background, too.
