Give me the rundown on these shots. Don't hesitate to be honest or harsh.

Hi :)

#1 - Striking image - but then again - it is the artist that gets the credit. Nice and sharp, and I don't mind the shadow.

#2 - meh... I see what you're getting at, but doesn't work for me. Perhaps closer up on one row of glasses.

#3 - Interesting building, but once again, not that great as a standalone 'art' shot. Dust bunny top-right & top-center.

#4 - Pretty cool as stock/add. Standard wide-aperture shot. Colour balance is out.

#5 - By far the best of the lot. Nice contemplative expression, pretty good lighting. But mostly - an emotion emanating from the shot.

I think #'s 1, 3, and 5 have lots of potential.
The mural (#1) and the portrait (#5) are the best shots in the group.
I thought at first that #1 was sidewalk art - then I decided that it must be a mural, because you would have to be hanging from a helicopter to manage that shot if it were sidewalk art.
The portrait is such a great pose. The lighting is under control, and even though I think the color balance is a little too yellow, it works, because all the colors are in harmony.

#3 Uncle Jer bothers me because it is so tipped over. However, the lighting on the building and the strong colors make it quite interesting.
